Anyone know anything about leak detection?

Have a leak under my garden and need to find the source! Completely new problem for me and have only consulted chatGPT for now who was a bit of help.
Anyone know the usual process? Can a local plumber I find on google maps sort me out? Cheers

Aye get yer spade out tbh dig in/around where you are seeing the water.

Likely find a damaged pipe, if its on your land it's down to you to fix
