Anyone know anything about MRAM?

Just browsing a few site and came across some memory described as

2 x 1GB MRAM DDR2 PC8500 for £40

I did a google and it came up with MRAM as a new manufacturing process.

So what i'm asking is, Is MRAM the brand name or type of memory?

It's a brand name.

But tbh it's tripe. Out of five pairs I bought only two would work. It's dirt cheap for a reason.
