Anyone know how to get game sound & voice sound through headset on PS3?

As per title.

When I use my USB headset I get the voice only, the game sounds come out of my monitor. I wish to have both come out of the same source i.e headset.

There should be options in the settings under accessory settings > audio device settings. Your headset should be listed there if it's recognised by the PS3 and then you just have to make sure it's selected under the Input and Output device.

Not sure if this will solve your problem but it worked with my headset.

is this a new feature then? I have a big USB headset (gaming one) and when I used it last time only the voice sounds came though which annoyed me because I couldn't hear the game sounds, glad they fixed it now.

I don't think it's any different to before!

Only voice chat is transmitted over USB, if you wanted the game sounds to come through the headset too you'd need one with dual inputs.
