I bought this second hand of a guy. It was cheap in fairness, so I'm not to bothered, but it would be nice to get rid of the creak of plastic.

The noise it coming from the foldable leg at the back of the machine as I move on the machine.

Is there any way to shut plastic up or do I just live with it?

Regards

Try taking off the plastic casing below it and looking for nuts+bolts to tighten, something may have simply come loose over the period of use.

Silicon grease?

Haven't heard of the stuff before, I'll google it thanks.

Thanks.....

Vaseline.

That might work. The noise dosen't seem to eminate from the friction rather just flexing.

The part of the machine I mean is this one

Thanks, I'll look into it.

Just thought I'd update this.

Solved the problem by inserting a sock in the back part. Seems to have removed the squeaking though the bloody front display dosen't work.

Apart from that it's fantastic, feels like a good workout. Need to make sure my technique is right though.

Use fairy liquid/washing liquid.

Only really a temporary solution but should stop it for long enough. Works with metal atleast.
