some are, but they still should fit. it's still a standard, and most adhere to the standard size.

can you believe i still havnt got one, mainly because some people on the bay have said the bios is locked on this machine??!!

dont talk daft there is no reason why you cannot put a mini pci wireless card in the laptop, and as far as im aware there are no locked bios' if you can enter the bios and change settings (crucial system settings) then its defiantly not locked.

If the laptop has a mini-pci slot in it then it's highly unlikely to have been disabled and locked out in the BIOS even if the advanced options are locked and need some secret keypress combination to access.
