anyone know if i can use the plug from a old psp on a 3000?

i got the psp3000 a few months ago and there have been a few times that i have needed to plug it in while playing because of low battery

does anyone know if it is the same adapter as the old fat psp? the cable on the one that came with the slim is stupidly short and i would rather use the old one

i know that i could read the label to check but my old psp is up in the loft to it would save me getting out the ladders if someone here could confirm it

The 1000, 2000 and 3000 should all work fine with each others power adapters whereas the Go uses it's own special one.

You can also charge the 2000 and 3000's with a mini USB.
