Anyone know of an alternative for a Fanatec Hall sensor?

Hi
I've a set of Fanatec V2 pedals. I've done a good bit of twiddling and testing. The throttle hall sensor is faulty.
No problem, says I. I'll get a replacement. It's a doddle to fit.
Can I find one anywhere? Nope.

So I have a fully working, except for that one hall sensor, quality set of V2 pedals. It's a shame to chuck in the recycling bin to get crushed when I could recycle them and use them for the sake of a hall sensor.

The original hall sensors can not be had for love nor money. Does anyone know of any compatible alternative?

Or perhaps the input/output specifications og the original hall sensor?

Don't mind doing a bit of soldering or adding the odd resistor here and there.

Many thanks.

Does the original hall sensor have a part number or Anything? The hall sensor isn't a proprietary part, you should be able to find one I'm sure.

Burtie, your an inspiration! :)

As a result of your post I dug out those pedals and took the hall sensor pcb apart to have a look for part numbers. Whilst doing so, I decided to do a continuity test using a meter between the hall sensor pcb solder connections and connector plug which then plugs in to the main control pcb. I hadn't bothered doing that previously as I reckoned it's factory cut wiring. It'll be fine. Can't be that. Nah, I won't even bother checking, I decided.

Big mistake. When I did this continuity test tonight I found It was a broken 0v wire within the outer sheathing of the 4 wires attched to the hall sensor. Patched it temporarily. All working now. Thank you.

The pcb was fine after all. Just a broken wire. I'll solder and shrink sleeve it tomorrow for a nice permanent repair. Too late tonight for me to be tinkering now.

Many thanks.
