Mate of mine has a HP system which won't allow him to change his memory timings, so he is after a 4gig kit that has it's spd set to 4-4-4-12 by default. Never come across this myself except on mobos with EPP support where memory can often default to these timings (Crucial Ballistix for example). But his, is an Intel mobo and all memory I have seen to date usually boots at 1.8v jedec timings of 5,5,5,15 or 18. I wonder would he even see much benefit if he did find a kit that defaulted to 4,4,4,12.
Anyone know of any 4gig DDR2 800mhz with 4-4-4-12 SPD

Indeed but that's at 2.0-2.1v. Most mobo boot at 1.8v so memory defaults to 5,5,5,14 jedec timing or worse. I don't think any memory will boot on a mobo at 4,4,4,12 unless you have an nvidia board/memory with EPP support or those Corsair Pro dims from ages ago where they had tight timings preprogrammed (probably ddr1 days).
