I am looking for a free software that can allow me to add my site to search engines like google, msn, yahoo etc so i can get on the top 10 search results or near. Something that does keywords, tags, meta tags etc

Is there anything like that for free, or even a free trial that allows you to submit your site?

What do you mean by a backlink exactly, is that a link that points back to my site. If so I have already done that on several forums that allow that kind of thing. I guess on here it's not allowed.

Just to make sure I got this right, my site is to do with games consoles.

say i want to bring people to my site to take a look at a playstation 3 then does the backlink look like this (without the quotes 'playstation 3' but then that text is hyperlinked with the link to my site. So people see it as playstation 3 but when clicked on it takes me to my site.

Currently people can do a google search for playstation 3 and I am on page 19.

Okay now I have said that, here's my next thing

When you say your site needs 'a combination of hard work, well written markup, good copy and fresh content.' That good markup is that html coding? I have no experience in that, I made my site using freewebs, it's free and uses templates, html can be inserted into the pages but I didn't use it as I know of no html skills.

Lastly I looked at a SEO submitting software that costs 450 euros to get to top 10 position in google search results or your money back! I don't like the price tag, anything cheaper?

I hope you can answer my questions

Don't bother paying for SEO until you've done as much as you can do yourself for free.

Submit your website to as many free directories as possible and try to get your link on to many console related websites. It will take some time but eventually you'll see yourself moving up the pages in google.
 
I don't want to pay a company for SEO i want to do SEO myself, i thought SEO is just a program that helps you submitting your pages to search engines through the use of specific keywords? Or is it in fact a programming knowledge on inputting the correct html code into websites so you get the best hits to your page, I'm confused?

Also I thought your not allowed to post a link to your site on any forums, even overclockers doesn't allow it. I don't know why because they don't even sell playstations.

yeah you'll need programming experience, which as you have said you have none, and i am guessing from your other threads you aren't planning on getting any any time soon so may as well give up with seo as you'll never get any where with it just using free tools.

i have seen you ask this many times before. i'm not going to repeat the answer but just think to yourself why you so desperately want to post the site here, what's wrong with all the other places on the internet? it may hlp you understand why it's against the rules


although it's good to see you have a lot of motivation to make money you're going about it in the completely wrong way, and it appears your motivation is to make money from doing pretty much nothing and paying for nothing, is this correct?

imo you should give up with this new unique idea you have just discovered and no one else has thought of. instead put the hours you have from writting your book and creating the site and reading about pyramid schemes into to getting a new job at say macdonalds, work there for a few days and then you'll have your free ps3 from the money earnt there, then quit, or continue and earn more money.

any chance you can post your age? sometimes i think your just some kid coming into the age where you start realising what money is so understandly are still finding yourself and understanding how things work, but then other times it's hard to know as you post some stuff that seems to smart for a kid to make up.

such a shame as every thread you make seems to start with a lot of potential but then quickly become full of people quite rightly calling bs.

If you're trying to say you need to actually know how to craft decent xhtml, for example, then yes I agree with you. If you're saying that you need to use paid for tools then I completely disagree. The only paid for tools I would think of using (although I don't) are those found on semoz.com. The only paid for tools that I can think of that don't do something you could otherwise do yourself are all blackhat - which will get you a nice penalty on google.

yes this is what i am saying, and as dvdbunny appears to be set at making money from doing nothing and without knowing any programming languages he might as well give up with seo.

as i have said it's good that you are trying to make money dvdbunny rather then sit at home doing nothing all day, but you really need to stop being brainwashed by these pyramid websites and listen to what everyone else is saying.

btw i wouldn't say dvdbunny is a troll, just been reading too much of the wrong stuff.
