You can open and save in .doc, .ppt, .xls, basically all the Office 1997-2003 formats.

Just found it amusing you saying that a few days after they announced they would. I think Star Office or whatever is meant to be more professional and have proper support whereas OpenOffice is free.
I haven't read up on it in ages, last I'd heard they were not going to do it.![]()
Same. Office 2007.I use MS Office anyway, so it doesn't really matter to me.
