I just opened the box to an equitorial reflector and there seems to be a part missing. It is mentioned in the instructions and it is called the 'Errecting Eyepiece'. It fits to the telescope I believe to enable it to be used as a spotting scope in daylight. it has the effect of switching things the right way round, ie to pervent loss of light when using at night its not used, and therefore everything seems a mirror image.

Question is this... Anyone who has a similar telescope, does this lens when used make everything seem the correct way around and not a mirror image or do u still get the mirror image but it doesnt appear upside down? I hope that makes sense

It basically has the effect of flipping everthing so that its not upside down. If you looked at the horizon without it the sky would be on the bottom. For astronomy its rarely used as you loose some light and i've never needed to use one with my reflector.
Saying that if you have a missing part i would get back to the people you got it from and ask for it.
