My dads just been on to AOL as he cant get online today for some reason, even though everything is on and working fine, modems on, green lights ok, arrows in start bar on and green ok etc... just when he was going to sign in, at the 2nd bit initialising modem, it would hang for a bit, then say no ADSL line, so he phoned them up, gave his details, phone number etc... and the guy said that its nothing to worry about, its us, were doing some work in your area, and it should be back on in a few hrs, so anyone know anything, as i find it a bit odd that they would cut you off without letting you know anything, like work they have planned etc... so you service will be affected.
He said he's had no e-mails saying anything about work getting carried out, and ive been all over the AOL site for some info, and theres nothing.
Just been on the TB site and theres a few ppl on there got no connection, so obviously they are doing work, but what, be nice of them to let ppl know.
