Anyone know what the S-Video input on the Dell 2007WFP is like?

Im considering buying a third party S-video cable for my Wii, so I can plug it into my Dell 2007WFP, I know it'll be scaled so may look a little blocky etc, but does anyone know what the quality of the actual S-video port is like anyway, as I remember reading that the composite input worked, but the picture really isnt too hot with anything (an observation I noticed when I tested my Wii on that a while ago).

Anyone know if its worth it, as the input gives too poor a picture to be worth it, or is the s-video input a lot more cop than the composite one?

Tried my original xbox through s-video on my 2007WFP and TBH the picture was pretty nasty. Blocky and blurry, especially at normal PC viewing distance (around 2 ft). Didn't look as bad from 6 ft, but the screen is a bit small for that distance.

I suspect the s-video input isn't handled well by the monitor (I dunno maybe a deinterlacing problem?), since at a similarly low resolution, my PC looked quite a lot nicer.
