Anyone know what this thing is called?

It's basically a protective plastic strip attached to the bottom of the exterior of a UPVC door, but this one's busted... so I need to get a new one! Preferably made from steel rather than plastic.

I thought rain deflectors were on the external of the door, bottom part facing out.
Indeed...but that is what the OP said. Attached to the exterior of the door...have also seen jt called a weather deflector.

I also have one attached to the bottom exterior of my uPVC door. My kids are excellent at kicking it off so I have to refit the b****** every other week!

Ahh now I've had a second look at the picture, I can see it does look like one. First glance I thought it was the part that sits under the door to make a seal.
 
I could do with one as well - looks like screwfix do stormguard branded ones
