Anyone know when this 3-Port Gigabit Powerline is out?

Perhaps ask the manufacturer?

I wouldn't go paying any huge premium for one with three ports though, you can just as easily get the same result by connecting a switch to the adapter.

I agree. Would be better (and no doubt cheaper), to get a passthrough homeplug and a switch. Means you can expand to larger switches as well.

I too am finding I would benefit fro ma 3 port adapter. Currently I have a single port powerline, works fine but can I get like a hub to plug in to it and then have myself more ports to have 3 simultaneous devices? I don't know what such a thing is called.

TP-Link TL-SF1005D 5-Port 10/100Mbps Unmanaged Desktop Switch, is this going to do the same job? I presume it goes into my powerline and then I can connect 5 devices, makes sense for £6.

Something like the above is what you need.

You can buy non Gigabit ones for under a tenner from many places, but the Gigabit can mean better speeds depending on the setup.

Thanks for clarifying, I only run 2 Playstation's and my laptop and they all operate at max efficiency on a 200mb power line currently so I think I'll be ok with a non gigabit. Thanks for the advice again.

4 devices (one port goes to the powerline adapter) but yes, this is exactly what I do using that same switch along with some TP-Link powerline adapters. One adapter where my PC is, one adapter where the router is, and one adapter in the living room with the above switch attached, which the TV, Sky box, PS3 and PS4 are connected to. Works really well.

Just bear in mind you'll need a power socket for the switch.

Just got the single port tplink av600 this week. Cracking bit of kit. I bought a 5 port tp-link gigabit switch box for £8 to go with it.

Does this one have gigabit ports? Because there are loads that say, 200Mbps, 500Mbps, etc. when the ports are only 100Mb!!!!

The av600 series does come with gigabit.

I'll repeat. It's fantastic. Ps4 lag has Reduced dramically. Now tv is far better.

Any issues and I know its outside of my house now.
