anyone know if the EK 3870 X2 Full Cover VGA Water Block will fit the hd4870x2 when released serched for answer with no look.or will it be another £170 for new waterblocks

the 4870x2 is not released yet, so completely unable to tell you. AMD have been rather secretive about the new X2.

Probably not as the memory modules and pwm chips are in a slightly different location and/or larger than the 3870x2's.

cheers guy it just when i come to sell my cards do i sell em with stock cooler on the or with waterblocks as well.was really hoping they would fit will hold on for bit anyway.cheers
