Anyone knowledgable with Ohme App / Charger?

Hi

I had my EV charger finally installed today, but since 11am it appears (in the app) like it has been charging. It hasn't as far as I can tell, as my IHD was not registering any usage. Yet the app, is saying since 11AM it has added 60% energy. I clicked the max button and that flicked it over to the schedule button, where I just changed the charge value to add to 0%. That stopped it. But I'm worried as it says the session ends in like 14hrs. So what happens then? I have no schedules, or routines setup, and I don't have any car plugged in! Been on hold with Ohme now for 10 minutes but given up as they shut at 6PM. Wondering whether to just flip the breaker and leave it off. But surely it is meant to be left on 24/7.

I've searched their online help section but can't see anything to help. Although one of their screenshots shows a red banner saying charger un-plugged. Mine doesn't say that in the app. The cable is plugged into one of those holders on the wall - would that confuse it?

Any ideas?

Cheers.

Thanks. Had the charger off all night. Will turn it on later before I call ohme and see what it is doing. I fully removed and reinstalled the app as well.

I guess I'm also worried that what will it do when a car is plugged in. Will it work properly! Not filled with confidence atm.

Right so, powered back on and logged in the app. So yesterday I had this going on...

But today, looks better...

So I'm guessing don't press "start a new session" until required! Although I don't recall pressing it yesterday, perhaps the electrician messing on outside pressed the buttons on the charger screen and initiated it.

I think it'll all be ok. :)

Looks fine to me, its after 8am so its ended the session.

Looks like you are looking for an issue that isnt there. Imagine having to go into the app to start a session rather than just plugging the car in... that would be crap.
Thanks - the issue was it was running yesterday and racking up (as you can see) these charge figures on the screen (and I don't recal initiaiting anything and no car was plugged in). That had me worried something was broken - what was it thinking it was charging. But I'm happy now to see that it has ended. So if I come to make a session, surely it is smart enough to tell if a cable is plugged in or not? What happens if I have a schedule and didn't need to charge that particular time - is it still going to rack up imaginary figures on the screen?

You say you haven't got an EV yet - but the app shows it's connected to a Honda. Have you linked ohme to a car?

There's no direct communication between the charger and the car - it all happens via the Api (over the internet) - so it looks to me like what you're seeing is someone else charging their car and the results of that showing up in your app.

Try removing the association to that car in the app.

No i don't think it is linked - the app just asks you to select a make and model of car. I haven't done anything further. But yep happy to try and remove it.
