Anyone lacking TF2 achievements?

Just play the game and pick achievements up as you earn them through getting better, cheating your way through the game to gain achievements is just plain lazy, and these sad people I usually end up dominating anyway...:D

(Noobs + cheating + achievements = crap players).... pratice makes perfect ;)
 
Its unbelievable the amount of Pyro's running around!
Had a turret set up in 2fort and got 20+ kills in about 10minutes, makes for easy pickings!! :D
 
Dark Shadow, I will be on tonight. Drop me an msn or something and we shall get some achievements. I need like 1 more to get a new pickup for the medic and 3/4 more for the pyro.

Most of them are stupidly easy to get.

But don't kid yourself into thinking because you earned them you are any better than the guys that use the Achievement servers.

Pyro is still an awful class and in proper competitive play (not publics) will not get used.

Publics are a mess right now with Pyro noobs running around holding the trigger down, it was a sad state for the free weekenders to have to come into.

I have no achievements yet as I am a new player, so I don't consider myself 'better' than anyone at the moment :p
 
Some take very unique and strange situations that might take weeks to get on publics, but they are still not really skill based at all... Hence some people used private servers or achievement maps .

As Heatsinked correctly stated in a previous post "They are called achievements for a reason. Earn them, don't farm them" its sad that people have to resort to cheating to try to be good players... I love dominating cheating noobs... :)

I agree, currently the achievements are more "hardcore" focused, you NEED to be on a server where people are focused on getting them instead of public servers where noobs go round doing whatever the hell they want with no teamwork and this is why farming is fine by my books.
 
Actually I think i've been stupid and read that wrong, I thought it meant you needed to set 15 people on fire, die and then have 15 people die hahahaa
