Anyone live in a timber frame new build

As above anyone live in a new build utilising timber frame with brick cladding?

What's the reason for your question?
I don't live in one at the moment but have designed hundreds of them over the years

wondered what peoples view of them are living in them etc

theres a new developer in my area that's started a nice new development and its timber frame with brickwork/rendering exterior (Countryside Properties)

Moving out of one in a few weeks if that's any use, been here nearly 6 years.

Any problems drilling exterior walls internally to hand stuff etc? With it not being solid brick I mean or anything to be aware of?

It's only the internal skin of blockwork replaced with timber frame. The external cladding, roof and floors will be pretty much traditional.

Theoretically it's easier to fix to these walls with standard timber screws but you'll have to find where the timbers are as they'll be at 600mm centres there or there abouts. Sods law says where you need one it won't be there though

As macca says just find the timbers for anything heavy, use plaster fixings etc.
