I have the opportunity to transfer to the University of Oklahoma for year 3 of my engineering degree, beginning September, but for one reason or another have been given the sum total of 4 days to make up my mind
This comes having been declined places at the likes of Texas Austin, Uni of Maryland and Georgia Tech because of a mass of applicants this year. While the opportunity to study in the US for a year seems like a great opportunity, and one which I have been looking forward to for some time, OU doesn't seem to be anywhere near as good at the other Unis (not on paper anyway). I'd rather not jeopardise my 4th year studies in Sheffield because of a lax 3rd year doing sod all, even for the experience. I was hoping some people here might be able to give me more of a personal perspective.
So, opinions anyone?
