Thinking what to cook this weekend; the girlfriend is out all day which means I can faff and make a mess in the kitchen
I remember seeing Simon Rimmer cook these and he made it look very easy; http://www.channel4.com/programmes/sunday-brunch/articles/all/sticky-pork-bao-buns/5501
Also found this BBC recipe which judging by the comments is fairly fool proof; https://www.bbcgoodfood.com/recipes/steamed-bao-buns
Secondly I'll probably try using my Anova for the meat. Pork is the go-to but my girlfriend isn't always a fan (carnitas tacos went down well though), I wonder if beef short-rib or lamb might be interesting? Any sous-vide recipes kicking around?
