Anyone made bao buns?

And were you successful?

Thinking what to cook this weekend; the girlfriend is out all day which means I can faff and make a mess in the kitchen

Secondly I'll probably try using my Anova for the meat. Pork is the go-to but my girlfriend isn't always a fan (carnitas tacos went down well though), I wonder if beef short-rib or lamb might be interesting? :confused:

Any sous-vide recipes kicking around?

I guess because I was intending to make Gua bao (Taiwanese buns) rather than char sui bao like you have in dim sum :confused:

Heh I can totally understand that. But I'm a totally sandwich fiend. I love all country's different ways of sticking some awesome meat/cheese/stuff in between bits of bread/taco/etc.
