The problem I have with the ps3 pad is the lack of a dimple in the middle of the analog sticks as on the xbox. I find my thumbs gradually slip off the stick as I play and I have to keep repositioning. I've heard of people who have modded their pads to replace the sticks with the sticks from the xbox controller, and I've also heard you can get silicon covers to go over the top of the existng sticks. It also occured to me you might be able to gouge out a dimple. Has anyone here tried this sort of thing and if so what is it like?

couldn't you just find something to stick on top of the analogue stick? some kind of little donut shaped thing like what you put under chair legs to stop them scratching etc?

You could just put gromets over them, and they can be brought in any b&q/Wickes etc under the electrical section (£1 ish per bag).

Their like little black rubber rings and approximately the same size as the thumsticks. I'll go and dig a couple out in a minute and let you know how they go.

edit: Perfect fit, and if you turn them inside out the outer rim locks over the thumbstick edge meaning they wont move. That good I'm leaving them on my sticks even tho I didn't have an issue :)
