Sorry if it's been asked before, but I want to get Sky TV again and want to know how people find Sky Stream.

I had SkyHD then Sky Q for years and always love it, but the cost kept creeping up and up, till I was playing nearly £100 a month. My main requirement is Sky F1 in UHD. Unless there is a better/cheaper way to get it.

I moved to VM and didn't enjoy the experience, but I'm moving house so managed to leave without fees as VM isn't available at our new address.

What's the Sky Stream interface like? Why do I need to pay to skip ads?

Had it for over a year now and actually prefer it to Q. Interface pretty much the same as Q except there's no recordings as everything is streamed, so the initial setup takes about 30 minutes as you need to login to all the apps etc, but it gives a pretty seamless experience. Since the last update they've pretty much killed off the lag on the interface so no complaints now whatsoever.

Yes, as skipping costs extra but usually can get a deal so it's like £2.50 if you check the sky desk thread out.

Thanks, does sound like it could be worth trying out. Does the puck have an ethernet port on it?

I'm going to get 1 month Now TV to watch F1 for the rest of this season, it will be interesting to see how it fares.

I’ve ordered an Apple TV 4K and I’m going to get Now TV and give that a try, starting with 1 months of Sports to watch the last races of the F1 season. Then if I’m happy with it I’ll continue it long term, it’s much cheaper than a full Sky package and I don’t watch more live TV anyway.
