Anyone noticed recent game adverts actually showing PC game footage for a change?

Fairly sure in the past most adverts for games have shown "PS3/360 gameplay" but Crysis 2 and one of the racing games on tv adverts at the moment are actualyl featuring PC gameplay. About time really as they can make the game look even better :D

If I were the developers, I'd only show the PC footage. It looks better afterall.

Though I imagine console gamers might be a bit upset when they realize the game doesn't come with 32x AA and 16AF on their console! :p

(don't take this too seriously, I do game on consoles on occasion!)

I noticed that. It might be even raise some interest in the PC.

It's not as bad as when Spectrum games' boxes used to show the C64 version or when Amstrad CPC/Spectrum/C64 used to show the Amiga version:p

Do you remember that Scooby Doo game where they used some impressive looking footage which was never even in the game to begin with ;) So many 8 bit games used to do this all the time. Show the best images in adverts/box art to con people into buying the game!!
