Two pronged question from me as wondered if anyone on here is still playing SC2?

and...

having only just discovered it myself, what is the best way to get to know the game and all its controls?

obviously everyone is different but would be interesting to know what worked for some people.
 
It fell out of favour for a lot of people im afraid. We used to have OCUK tournaments in its heyday but generally speaking there is a lot wrong with how the game turned out compared to SC1 and the expansion just didnt help resolve it at all (infact made it worse). Blizzards refusal to fix the basics got pretty tiring.

Its still a good game and the single player is excellent, just that if you want anything more than that they you need to dedicate a lot of time to understanding all the fine details to get anywhere decent in multiplayer and thats when you realise that actually their are better games out there to play and learn.

most people watch but dont play now.

I have stopped playing because my pals are still playing SC1 and only one of them got SC2. I loved the campaign modes and multiplayer as well on SC2. Read tactics in different scenarios, or follow specific teams on how they play.

I know what you mean - its certainly good to watch but you can just imagine it takes an amazing amount of time to get as polished as the people you are watching.

Still, I'm enjoying it so far - makes a change from the constant grind in Destiny with little reward lol
 
I just play the single player and watch pros on YouTube. Cracking game but not even a chance at enough time to make multi player Worth it
