Anyone on ntl experiencing problems today?

My net was fine until about 2 when it went a bit funny... I was playing guild wars and my chat and damage information was coming back but i couldn't move or use skills. I assumed it was gw so gave up on that to have a browse of the forums - no problems what-so-ever. Then I went to google and it said could not be found... hmmm. Then msn signed me out and all my net died. Turned modem router and computer off just to be sure (was going out anyway) and it was back to some sites working again - can still view forums and ocuk homepage but not half the other sites i've got on my sites bar. I still can't get back into gw, google or email either.

Anyone else having any problems this afternoon?

ive had terrible pings in games since about 3 this afternoon but apart from that everything else has been fine

That is listed as a national fault.
 
yeah you guys arent alone. im having the same problems. if its the nationsal fault they better fix it soon. i wanna play guild wars and some unreal tournament 2k4.
 
Im still having problems here in stoke on trent this morning, slow web, high pings, done a speed check and my 10mb line is currently running at around 3mbps!!. They've got serious problems somewhere and its been like this since about 2pm yesterday.

Hopefully it will get fixed soon.
 
hi guys im in northwood can you help on my bill its saying 1mb broadband 24.99 am i on 2 or are they ripping me off get constant download speeds of 123k so i would have thought im on 1mb looking at that any help thanks

When I was on 2Mb, I was getting downloads upto 248K/s
 
seems like they still got me on 1 meg and charging me for 2meg anybody recomend any other good service providers
 
Id give them a call and see what's going on, if you complain they will probally upgrade you to 4mb :) .. its worth a go.

NTL have always been very good for me, had decent pings, download rates, and since my 10mb upgrade i was maxing out my newsgroup connection.

It's only been for the past few days that the speed has been hit and miss.
Its been down to 2mbs rates at times, yesterday i was back to full speed and this morning im down to 6mb, hopefully it will sort itself out soon.

Id stick with NTL if i was you. Just give them a call and see what they can sort out for you.
 
all sorted yipeeeeeeee they where charging me for 2 meg but was still on 1 meg going to credit me what they owe now on 4 meg lovely jubbly
