i get 250 free minutes an 100 free texts. im a bit confused to what is going on. this is my first contract phone. are the 250 free minutes, anytime or are they peak/off peak? dont want to start running up a huge bill so soon!

I'm on O2 100/100. Had the same query.
Phoned them and was told 100 minutes/ 100 texts is "free anytime/ anywhere" meaning calls/texts to landline AND mobiles(including all networks).
Should be the same for you but check anyway.

No worries ;) - still give them a call though -

Wouldn't want to cost you money hardc0re_tid if we're on slightly different tarrifs.

i'm on o2 250, its 250 anytime, any network minutes and 100 text messages per month.

Also, its the first of o2 tariff that the minutes and text roll over, though its only for 3 months then you lose them if you haven't used them by that point.

Actually, that's not correct. O2 200 rolls over too, trust me.

And I'd look at the o2 Online deals. You can get o2 500 for the same price...void Phones4U like the plague. They're by far the worst phone retailer in the country. I speak from painful daily experience, fixing their ****-ups.

So true about p4u, I might start a thread about just how bad the are. I went for a job there and half way through the interview I said "look mate I'll sell phones fine, but I'm not conning granys". The things he told me they got upto as if it was funny, what a prat.

You will get 250 free minutes (anytime to uk mobile, land or even 0870 or 0800's) an 100 free texts to uk mobiles

why not register with o2 online that way you can click on unbilled summary and it will show how many you have left (the pic above)

It's charged at 4 text messages of your inclusive but it's 25p if you go over your limit. And Ste_bla that online thing isn't always accurate, in fact o2 has told us advisors not to use it, which means I've got to calculate 3 months rollover plus this months remaining allowance in my head. Ouch!

Thats a bit of a rip off why not charge 2 out of your "free txt" then

Is that inaccurate due to the look of my one or in general?
