Anyone on O2 Broadband?

I'm concidering switching to O2 soon, as my current ISP contract is close to ending. My question is in regards to the O2 contract £5 off offer they have for all broadband packages.

I currently am not on an O2 contract, but will be getting one soon hopefully (iphone!). I know the first 3 months are free, so is it possible to sign up for a contract on the 3rd-4th month and get the £5 off subsequently after? or do I have to be on O2 now before I sign up for their home broadband to get the £5 off?

I think you have to be with o2 when you sign up as you enter you phone no. But i'm not 100% sure.

make sure its normal LLU packages and not the access at £17.99 they offer! if ya exchange hasnt been unbundled then o2 have a bad rep, im on LLU and its the best ive used in the years, i get 17mb sync but always get 1.6mb dl and my dads got 50mb and when over there sometimes they dont even a 1.2mb so im staying with o2 even though i can get virgin 50mb!

Unless they have changed their terms you can call O2 customer services at anytime and get an O2 mobile registered to the broadband for the discount.

I am on O2 LLU and never been happier

Correct.

However I used my works O2 mobile to get my discount! Loving O2 so far...
