I've been on this since March and they seem to have been charging me more than they should have been.

When I signed up I was under the impression that I was supposed to be paying £9.99 for the first 3 months and then £12.99 for every subsequent month.

My charges so far have been:

March 6th - £15.15
April 5th - £9.99
May 4th - £11.49
June 6th - £13.14
July 5th - £17.24

Which is a total of £67.01

That's £11.06 more than the £55.95 it should have been so far.

Now my account is £11.06 over drawn and I will be getting charged £30 for this. Pretty ****** off about this tbh.

Anyone else on Tiscali 1meg?

Have they been over charging anyone else?

Should I be phoning them up to complain or is there some kind of secret charge I'm paying but didn't realise?

It's not the £11.06 I'm so annoyed about its the fact that it's now going to be £41.06 and I'm trying to build up a better relationship with my bank as it is. **** like this doesn't help!

Well to be honest if tiscalli hasnt sent you a bill before the direct debit date then you can claim it back under the DD guarantee and then the bank wont charge you.

The direct debit guarantee applies to all banks and building societies taking part in the direct debit scheme. It says that:

If there is a change in the amount to be paid or the payment date, the person receiving the payment (the originator) must notify the customer in advance.
If the originator or the bank/building society makes an error, the customer is guaranteed a full and immediate refund of the amount paid.
Customers can cancel a direct debit at any time by writing to their bank or building society.

They have never sent me anything apart from a modem.
