Is anyone looking at getting this new mid-range phone from Samsung?

I try my best now to stay away from bleeding edge phones or anything with a stupidly large screen, so I've been using an Asus Zenfone 8. Packs a punch all whilst being in an easy to handle 6" form factor. I've just had an email from DPD to say they are expecting my Samsung order which usually means it will turn up the day after, so fingers crossed. I went for the Awesome Lime in the end. Just wondering what case to go with now. :p I like the look of the spec and the 4/5 years of updates. Only weak point is the 25w charging but my Zenfone 8 is the same so that is no real issue - I'm used to it. Gone are the days of when I owned a OnePlus with its insane charging speeds!

Some little pre-review hands on write ups can be found here Tech Advisor and Tech Radar.

Sure I can put up some thoughts but I'm no reviewer haha. The phone should be here between 6-7PM so will put it on charge straight away and grab some pics. The phone case I ordered has arrived - thankfully. I hate not having one in readiness. I went with the Spigen Ultra Hybrid Case with the black edging in the end. Should contrast the lime whilst also still showing the colour of the phones body.

I don't think I've ever worried about storage once on a phone. The Zenfone 8 currently has 256GB. I've used 51GB. :) But I don't game on the phone or install hundreds of apps.

The deal I went with was £189 up front for the phone then £15 a month with Three (100GB) for 24 months. Still works out cheaper than buying the phone outright (which is what I usually do) and then going SIM only (say Smarty for £10 a month). With the deal I'm looking at £549 over the term of the contract (not including any price rises). If I bought it outright and went with a £10 a month SIM I'd be paying £689. Who would have thought a contract would be £140 cheaper.

Phone is currently on charge but really pleased with how it looks and feels. Has a nice weight to it, compared to the Zenfone 8. Size is not that much bigger to be uncomfortable to hold, albeit I've only held it briefly as it currently only has 45% battery so will be a little while until I can get to use it and start transfering items over. So I'll write up a few paragraphs later this week / weekend. But here are some snaps.

The deal was via Martin Lewis' website. When I spoke with EE to get my PAC code they couldn't even get close to the price. They were around £400ish up front and 23 quid a month.
