Similar weight, similar HP, I know a few people, some even on here, who have gone for a 350Z over an E46 M3 because of the cost related to an M3 that isn't present on a 350Z.

As long as those people don't try and convince themselves and others that it was a move that they wanted and the Nissan is the better car..
