Hi,

Been looking at reviews of this monitor as I am wanting to order a new one today but have seen a lot of people unhappy with the quality of it.

Does anyone on here own this monitor? as it is a lot of money to pay for something that may not be what I would expect for that price.

Anyone had any good or bad experiences with it?

Thanks.

According to the asus rep, it has around a 1% return rate due to issues.

A Lot of owners, most happy - some have issues with dead pixels so return until they get a pixel perfect one, these are the more vocal ones on the forum.

It can happen, it sucks but you can return to ocuk for a replacement or do a doorstep exchange - it seems reasonable support to me.

I own one, dislike asus as a company, but it's an excellent monitor

Mine's perfect. Settings wise you need to move the gamma slider down slightly to say 0.9, brightness to suit your preference.

Motion clarity on this thing is simply amazing, and gsync manages to make even games like crysis 3 look smooth as butter, well worth it imo.

Yeah, I've got one, works a treat.

One thing that I was quickly on the forums about was the flickering you get when its running g-sync and a game drops below 10fps or something like that.

It's like a subtle black flicker in between frames. It's a known issue with all g-sync monitors though. Just be aware it will happen.

I had to return my first one due to screen flickering at 144hz but the second one has been awesome. I've not switched my PS4 on since getting it, I'm even playing Titanfall again just to see it at 144hz.

Just make sure you have a reasonable PC to drive it to get the most out the screen and you won't regret it.

What r the viewing angles like on these?

Ive always wondered if TN panels are considered exclusively gaming monitors or do ppl use them for other activites?
