Anyone PC Game on their sofa? Setup ideas...

Here's my setup, excuse the messiness etc :D

The table + board is what really makes this super comfortable to use with M&KB as well.

Sofa gaming with cable accessories ? I'd rather play with £15 wireless keyboard directly on my laps and mouse on a sit next to me.

Wireless mouse would be nice but wired keyboard doesn't bother me at all. In fact have a wireless kit as well but don't care much for it.

Not something I've done very much, but when I've done it with a laptop and mouse, I've just plonked them on a plank of wood that is probably around 100cm long. That's long enough to get the mouse and pad on, and thick enough to avoid getting leg burn from the laptop.

I only play games with the gamepad like Forza 4, Crew 2 etc.. I just plug the laptop into the 4K TV.

I don't like anything sat on my lap really, makes my legs really uncomfertable I'd need something that doesn't rest on my legs but I think it'd be big and clunk.

I've got an XBOX One and PS4 too, but I hardly use them as new games and updates kill my internet so makes it a nightmare to even bother.

I have my computer case tucked down the side of my sofa, keyboard sits on lap, other sofa cushion is my mouse pad, TV is main screen, works well

For keyboard and mouse gaming, I’ve got a laptop stand that comes right next to my sofa bed, so thats where the K&M go which are wireless. For the DS4 controllers obviously don’t need that.

When not in use, the laptop stand goes on the side with a decoration on top so keeps the wife happy :)

It’s not too bad, just my sofa bed is really not the best for ‘sitting’ so that’s something I need to look into.

Steam link, second controller, 65" 4K TV. 4K gaming on the sofa, bliss :)

Have my pc in the front room with a high end 65" 4k and a huge 5.1 surround sound system with a steam controller but I don't like FPS games with controllers. Steam link is in my bedroom.

Thanks for all your suggestions guys I got the roccat. Haven't had a chance to use it yet, but sat on the sofa with it and it felt really comfortable!

Using an Alienware Alpha R2 in the lounge. Picked it up with the Alienware Graphics Amplifier too, that's empty at the moment. Just using the built in GTX 960. Has the standard wireless Xbox 360 pad that came with it. But normally use a Logitech K345 keyboard, Logitech MX Revolution. Got nice wide arms on the sofa, so just got a thin hard surface mousemat on there.

I use a Roccat Sova with Logitech G602 mouse paired with Corsair H2100 headset. Been using this for months.

I use my nvidia Shield if I'm gaming on the TV, the Shield controller works well and I'll use an Xbone wireless controller if it's a 2 player game.

Also, GeForce Now is brilliant for me for most games that aren't on my PC.

I have been sofa gaming for about 2 years now, i have used been using the Razer Turret lapboard for over a year. It took some getting used to as the mouse pad area is quite small, but now it’s perfect for me, much smaller than Roccat Sova, it just folds it half and i just put it in the charging dock behind the TV when I’m not using it

My Steam link is gathering dust since sorting out a proper small form factor PC. Steam link is good but it isn't perfect and still has niggly issues that mean I have to run upstairs and sort something or other out. Also there's no comparison on picture quality when run direct to a big TV and no problems with 5.1 functionality. :)

Enjoy, the mechanical keyboard is a joy to use. Makes me hate my cheap one at my desk!
