Anyone play Civ VI on Epic.

Just logged into Epic store today to get the free games.
I noticed they have Civ Vi Anthology Edition for £25.49, whereas its £85 on Steam.

I have never actually played a game using the Epic launcher before, is it worth buying on Epic or wait for a Steam deal?

I tried it out on Epic with a friend as I'd grabbed the base game when they gave it away. We got into a game fine, I think we had to use a code to do it. After our initial game he realised he had a spare steam key for the platinum edition for steam so gave me that. After that it was slightly easier to connect to him because I could connect through steam, and I had the mods on the workshop.
IMO, main thing was the workshop - I assume things like nexus mods will probably have them though.

I think i will just wait for a steam deal.
Reading the reviews about Epic doesn't fill me with confidence

I see cdkeys have it for £18 and it can be activated on Steam

£18 on cdkeys for everything is a good deal. (I paid £12 for the frontier pass alone a few weeks ago!)
You can sink 100's of hours into this game very easily!
