I know weird question but i have been playing nothing but BF3 since release!
I have a Cyborg Rat 5 mouse which you can program 4 dpis on the fly, well when i 1st got it i thought 500dpi was fast:D, then i put my lowest setting to 1000dpi and got use to that.
Well i bought Black Ops 2 on release and yes i thought it was crap, and never played it, anyway the last week i have been playing it and not BF3 i am getting not bad at it.
Went back to BF3 today and 1000 dpi seems so slow had to knock it up to the next level which is 1500 dpi
Anyone else had where they have come from a fast game back to a slower one and found it to be to slow?

I have my mouse on 400dpi and the slider down to about 15-20% in BF3. I can't deal with too high sensitivity, I just end up missing stuff from moving too far. Also in BO2 I have the sensitivity down really low.

I use the same for all FPS games.

If your using Windows 7 or 8 you might want to try markc's windows 7/8 mouse fix - it will change the feel of the mouse a lot but gives a lot better control over fast mouse movement (might not be for everyone tho).

Ok thanks yeah probably best to adjust sensitivity in game, just that COD is such a fast game;)

Just to confirm I've installed that fix for Windows 7 do I disable or enable enhance pointer precision?

I've always disabled enhanced pointer precision for gaming - on faster mouse moves it tends to add an unpredictable level of acceleration.

Used to have this problem going between BF2 and COD4. BF2 is a lot slower..

Same problem exists between BF3 and MW3 and DayZ, but I've just adapted to it now.

I always find BF3 in general a lot easier after 2-3 rounds of BO2 its just the pace of the gameplay. But I also use 2200dpi in both games never felt the need to change it.
