Anyone played Nexuiz?

Hi all,

Saw Nexuiz today and being a bit of a Q1 fanboy thought it looked pretty good...does anyone have any experience of it? I'll be downloading it when I get home from work, but just wondered if anyone had played it and what they thought.

Played a bit of botmatch a while back. Similar feel to Promode but it's definitely a step back from Quakeworld.

In terms of technology (not graphics, but stuff like customisability, usability and features) I've yet to see a better FPS client than ezquake for QW.
 
I tried it ages ago and didn't really get into it :(

I also tried warsow which seemed more fun and easy to get into, but was also so easy to win. People were saying I was cheating on the first multiplayer game I pleyed :( so I got bored of that aswell :(

select ultra in settings and its a beast looks AMAZING and with test any rig out there with its dynamic lightning realtime and realtime shadows bump mapping

Are there enough people playing this online? Looks quite nice, got to see the gameplay, does it play like Quake?
