Anyone PLaying Over G on 360?

I got it, luckily i never expected much from it because it's not up to much at all....It looks average and plays average.....You can pick the controls up in 2 seconds and is pretty easy to play all round......

Some missions last no longer than a minute, i swear!.....Basically arrive at your "zone" .....Shoot some planes down.....Done!......It also throws achievement points at you for doing literally nothing!

The sound track sucks and the voice acting is horrendous but all round?.......It's an OK game but nothing special.......Shall finish and sell me thinks.

Haven't tried it on Live yet but will later :)

Given that I've yet to see any previews on my most frequently read 360 sites suggests that its rather poo :p

The sales of this game to overclockers members just went through the roof, within a week McDaniel will be playing it. :D

Well still havent received my copy from HMV, even though it was sent out Thursday...hopefull will be with me by tommorrow.

From what i have seen, seems like a good game and if the achievements are easy to get then thats cool...i could do with another 1k added :p

most annoying thing is the bugs, esp the achievment bug where is gives you the achievement but it'll lock your system up forcing you to replay the mission again even if you have completed it with achievement

Got it for £22 from HMV, should be a laugh for the money and I will give my opinion on it, hopefully it is a pick up and play for 15 minutes then leave for a day type of game, that would suit me at the moment.

*shifts eyes*

I err, do not intend to by this game. I do not play games with simple achievements.

Thought that was just my 360

I have to say after playing a few hours of the single player that I quite enjoy it, hated it at first until I got into the controls. I think whether or not you will like it depends on how much you like planes and what you expect them to be like. I have seen a load of complaints on different forums that you just shoot at orange boxes and you can't see the enemy planes, but that's kind of the point! Air to air missiles are designed to keep distance between you and the enemy. Landing on an aircraft carrier is not something everyone could do so they have made it slightly difficult rather than point it in the right direction as is usual in arcade flying games.

The multiplayer is awful though, no really awful! The flying elements are good, and there are a couple of different modes, the best being with 4 teams of 2 wheree you have to destroy the other teams bases and carriers, but after each match you are kicked out of the lobby and have to start a completely new game so if people join that are not on your friends list you will only realistically be able to play once against them. Who in their right mind thought that was a good idea?

It's mot an essential purchase and it isn't that polished (terrible voice acting, bad lobby), but under the surface is a great game bursting to get out. :)

Got my copy this morning and gave it a quick spin before heading off to work...seems like an ok game..i quite like it although i only played it for about 5 mins of anything...gfx looks good to me but yeh the voice acting is kinda terrible in parts:p

Is there a demo out for it?

Not really heard much about this game at all but I think I'd possibly enjoy it if the price was right

I used to love Ace combat, and found this so far to be an enjoyable game, the first three campains are easy and short, but things start to toughen up in the fourth campain, more air targets.

The graphics i thought were great, they do a good job of the aircraft and at high alt, the ground looks convincing enough.

Anybody looking for a PC type sim will not be pleased, but those who want to pick up and play, its worth a look.

Well my cheap copy arrived this morning, once I have gotten todays work completed I will shove it in the 360 and give it a whurl!

Should be good, the manual is nice and thick which is always a good sign.

I'm enjoying it, sort of like a dumbed down LOMAC, which is good because I really wanted to like that game but didn't have the time or patience to learn all the buttons! :)

It seems to be getting a lot of bad press but I'm glad I bought it. :)

I'm really enjoying this, maybe because my expectations were low, but I'm finding it fun anyway.

I think the graphics are ok, and it is great that the game has a good framerate and no screen tearing unlike blazing angels. It's definately no flight sim, and those looking for one maybe dissapointed, but overall it's worth a rental or picking up a cheap copy imho.

I picked this up on sunday and have played it a bit. Basically it comes across as a poor ps2 port. Really cheesy music, no FMV interludes, the menu system and all the bits that tie the game together seem to have be bunged together in minutes on alow budget. The voice acting is atrocious and the training missions are useless. I still haven't worked out what i'm meant to do with the bomb aimer.
There's even spelling errors in the mission text it's that bad and has crashed my otherwise flawless 360 twice so far at the end of missions.

I'll be playing through as quickly as possible and slinging it on the bay to get shot of.

I agree, me and my mate had 3 hours of absolute histerical laughter today because of this game.

Trying to take off and running into my wingman, not being able to taxi about.

Dropping out the sky stalling and hitting a tree on a straffing run, mid air collission.

Watching a replay and being in a dogfight but not knowing about it!

Great game to poke fun at while playing, and the quality of the voice acting is just brilliant, it tries to be so serious yet fails.

This is what PC games miss, Aikens Artifact featuring the voice of ICE T! Is the only other game I think compares to this.

A blast to play with mates, if you like riping games apart and adding your own stories or challenges.

"Complete this mission using only your chin and little finger"

Or Ridge Racer - Chins only for steering, both add a very cool aspect to the games!
