Anyone PLaying Over G on 360?

This game could have been soooooo much better with just a little more effort, The controll of the plane is really poor, you cant barrel roll at all just bank left or right, flight is really slow and evading your enemy is a long winded turn right wait 5 mins turn left wait five mins and see if they follow and shoot or not experience. there is no excitement just turning right and left, If the planes handled as good as battlefield 2 on PC then this game would be a dream :) especially in multiplayer... still im playing it through for the points then selling it on,, lucky I got it for £23 from HMV in the offer a while back, prob be able to trade in Game for that price anyway :)
 
Well finally got my copy this morning and decided to play it properly, god it just throws achievements at you lol:p.
Agree with the plane control...not very good but its good for a quick blasat or 2...doesnt take much intelligence to play this game...great as a pick up and go game...no effort required etc.

All in all not bd but ill be selling mine once ive completed all the achievements or once i get bored of it:p

Ahhh was wondering what the option was all about, will have to give that a go later tonight.
 
Apologies, it's actually called Real mode, but you get the idea :)

I had read reports about this before buying the game, so I changed it to Real as soon as the disc was in the 360.

Ahh nice, ill try it out,we should read the manuals TBH but I dont think anyone does these days lol, Im a bit embarassed to say Im really enjoying this game now,I acidently wrote over my gamesaves and I was even bothered to play it all again up to the 3rd level :eek: Tom Cruise eat your heart out,lol :D
 
I'm enjoying myself so far, better than some of the 360 games I could mention, the missions start of really easy and they just started to get hard :( , weapon loadout and weight is really an issue in the later scenarios, as is picking the right plane in the first place.

Controls seem pretty decent, graphics aren't as bad as some make out, runs very very smooth, not noticed one jot of slowdown as yet.

Maverick wannabes should have a look at this :)
