Im resitting:

Philosophy of Religion

and

Religion and Ethics

Thanks

Not helpful in anyway, but:
I always enjoyed RE, wish I'd done it at A-Level.
Good luck with the exam

rofl you failed R.E?

got any plan s on what your doing after a level with those subjects?

Well, according to my mum who's a Maths teacher, - the government scheme to increase teachers in shortage subjects is now aimed at gaining RE teachers.

Which means a tax free lump sum bonus of £4,000 for teaching your first year and also all student loans are payed off by the government.

Nah i didnt fail it... I just want a better grade - More UCAS points.

Im hoping to do Music Technology in University (Got an interview coming up on the 19th). I just need a good grade in R.E (B or Above) to get enough points for my course.

Just go in a write that you believe the bible literally and you'll get an A*in R.E, and for Religion and Ethics I'd just write "lol"!

While we're on the subject, I'd like to take "Lord of the Rings" A-level - much more entertaining and eminently more believable.

At High School I was actually banned from attending R.E. classes after a nasty 'incident' with the teacher, Miss Hooper, who happened to be a midget! :D

Whilst I think everyone can agree that RE is seen as a lesser subject in comparison to others, you are clearly taking rubbish.

Why? If they want you to believe a non-subject like that then they've already won by the fact that you've taken said course.

OK I was being a bit flippant but the amount of suffering, in all it's guises, that religion has caused over the millenia they deserve all they can get!

We did this test in RE in year 11, I answered this question, scribbled it out and wrote a new answer.
We self marked our own test papers after and when the teacher looked at mine she accused me of scribbling it out when we were marking them and writing in the correct answer, ended up in a big argument with her and the other RE teacher and the mark still wasn't given as they sided with each other :o

Nah mate honestly. You are talking complete rubbish. To be fair, i dont believe in God... but still. If you think you know it all:

Explain Emmanuel Kant's Categorical Imperitive and his writings about Good will and Duty for me.... Without googling....

Its not all "God is amazing" etc. Its mostly to do with modern Day issues, Philosophy and Ethics.

I had two RE exams at GCSE, both 1 hour long, and both of them I just sat there doing nothing the whole time. It was the best feeling ever, that for the first time ever I was able to not do any RE work and nothing could really be done about it.

I thought about it for ages and decided I didn't want to be the type that said they hated RE yet grab the A* grade for it. Just felt wrong for me to have done that. I did what I beleived in.

If you think you know it all:
I don't, but I know Religion in all it's forms is a load of rubbish!

I haven't googled anything, I don't know who that is and, unless you give me a good reason, I won't be inclinded to either.

I was just proving that R.E As and A level isnt just "Oh... Say got is amazing and youll pass ;) haha" ...
