Anyone recommend a flight sim?

After a nice easy to jump into flight sim? ie: Not super technical, but good fun none-the-less?

WW2'ish or just a regular flight sim?

You should look into flight simulator x which is for beginners - experts.
Later on when you are comfortable with flying you should look into DCS A-10C Warthog which is easily the best flight Sim out there by a long shot and one of the best games i have ever played.

Yes it would be hard without one,but you can pick a starter one up for around 30 quid.

No i don't think so but will be more difficult to fly using keyboard.
