I need to buy a floor/track pump for someone as a present, any recommendations as to what to go for?

I don't know what valve type he has, it's road biking not mountain, only guidance I've had is a Boardman one from Halfords.

Don't mind buying him that one if it's alright, but just wondering if there's anything else worth looking at, say up to £60/£70?

Thanks!

£70 isway more than you need to spend on a track pump. Topeak Joe Blow is a popular one. I have a Blackburn Air Tower 2 which is great for presta valves, though not so great on schrader valves if that's a concern. If it's a road bike it's almost certainly presta.

I have a Topeak Joe Blow for topping up at the weekends but I also take this everywhere with me because it's like a small track pump -

Thanks chaps, the Lezyne ones caught my eye before.

I know that cheaper stuff will be just as good but as it's a present don't mind :)
