Anyone recommend some software...

...that can be used to do the BBC news / sky sports style side bars?

What im after is something that can enable you to do the same style thing as them with the sliding news going across the page at the bottom and the latest results/tables etc that sky sports have on the right of there screen + other stuff like the time / date

Anyone know of such software that isnt a load of crap and isnt ridiculously expensive?

I don't want premade tickers etc, i want programs to make them myself, the overlay type stuff

digital signage software i think is the name for it, the same way that skysports have there sidebars, but i want to use a program that makes and displays those sidebars over a TV system
