With my upgrade i got a bag to put my old phone in and send off. I didnt bother last time, but theyre offering me £15 for my k700i which as a hard-up student i cant resist! :p

It says send the phone and accessories.. will i be ok just sending the phone and the charger? Also the joystick's dead, but the phone does work fine... reckon that'd be ok?

Anyone had an experience doing this and getting money? (i.e. did the cheque turn up? :p)

Sending to T-Mobile by the way.

you'd probably get more by selling it on ebay TBH.

I have sent an old phone of to the carphone warehouse with charger and not received the money I was supposed. I was quite annoyed that time. :(

i handed one in at a store with orange for £50 cashback on my contract, was a very battered 3210 i had from back in the day, all they wanted was handset, no charger or any accesories

Different schemes have different requirements. For example, O2 was happy to accept just the phone and charger (not even a UK plug, at that), CPW wanted all 3 (phone, charger and manual) in order to qualify for the trade-in, and Orange seemed content with just the handset itself.

So my advice would be to check the documentation and/or call up to ask.
