Anyone remember KKND?

KKND Krush Kill 'N' Destroy

I actually remember I played it, and know I still have a copy in the garage somewhere. I don't actually remember much about it except maybe it was hard and difficult to get into.

Copy still here. Some missions are ludicrously difficult, though the fun was always in having a multiplayer bash and being the first man to find the old-era bunker :D

Not to mention training 50 snipers to waste everyone :D

The only thing I remember were the arty canons which deployed like 4 extendable legs before firing. I thought that was cool back in the day. lol.

After about mission 6\7 it gets tough. I find playing as the evolved was a tad easier though. The game works ok in XP as long as you avoid tasking out.

The only problem was there was no skirmish option....would so have benefited from this (at least the original DOS release lacked one, not sure about the Win 95 release).

Possibly the best ultimate tech units ever - a massive crab with an even bigger missile launcher strapped to it, and a huge minigun strapped to a set of tank tracks :D

I actually noticed the CD on the shelf a few days ago, that and C&C Red alert. KKND was great though, but it did get really hard after the 1st few levels

Win95 release had a skirmish mode, dubbed 'KAOS MODE' ;)

Anyone remember that mechwarrior unit you could find on one of the maps? Was so cool.
Lots of maps had secret bunkers that when found, would open and release a unit chosen at random.

From my memory, there was a mechwarrior type bot, a plasma tank, a spidertank, and a huge robot which I swear to god the Galactic Colossus in Supreme Commander was originally based on :p
