Anyone remember - O2 Freebies

I had a text or email a month or two ago from o2 saying if I did something ( I think it was txt a number or online ) that I would get a free 'treat' from free txts, free mins etc.

Cant for the life of me remeber how now, does anyone remeber?

i think you ring it, but i've never bothered to try it so can't be definite.

yes mate, you call that number and assuming you're eligible you are given a set of options to choose from.
nothing ground breaking i agree, but then again it is a freebie.

Does anyone know how you get the 500 free texts if you have a genie card?

Cant find bugger all on the 02 site but i remember people saying if you top up with £15 you get 500? is that £15pm or do you have to top up the £15 in one go?

nevermind sorted it now! you can change your tarrif online if you register using your PAYG number. 300/£10, 500/£15, 1000/£30 per month.

and cheers for the freebies thang, got mom 25 free texts per month.

has anyone joined the 02 Reward scheme btw? is there a catch or is it really that easy? (you get 20% back depending on how much you've topped up per quarter)

just for your information mate i'm on contract with O2 and for 30 quid/month i get 1000 texts and either 400 or 500 mins ( i forget which, d'oh)
add the free handset and much better support if said handset breaks and contract starts looking like good value.
