Yes i remember these, i used to get them from woolworths, they were some strange foreign make i can't remember the name of. Definately not maoam / haribo

yes. I do know what the OP is talking about. If you look on maoam web site (can't link) there is a picture of what possibly could be one, but unless maoam bought over the comp nay or something it's unlikely as maoam apparently only started with it around 2001, so more likely haribo (which also own maoam).

I remember them, they came in a string bag like clemintines do nowadays.

Dunno what they were specifically called though

mainly got them in party bags.
