Anyone remember Visage's sig?

What was it about or can't you remember anything about it at all.

Are you a member of the other forum he posts on, by the way?

Apart from Faaip De Oiad, can anything bad be said about Lateralus?
I thought lateralus was their weakest album. Not to say it was bad by ANY strech of the immagination, but it wasn't as edgy as their others. I must say Aenima was was favorite album of all time until I heard 10,000 days. That is a GREAT album.

It's weird how when 10k days came out, everyone was in shock and majority hated it.

Now I love a lot of the tracks on it. They're not as existential as Lateralus (I love the soul searching) but in some ways it explores a lot more - and some of the tracks on there are also really accessible.

I think Vicarious has to be the one of the best Tool songs, and every time I need some agression to get me through something (usually a run) - I stick that on. For me it is perfect to remind me of my darker side.

Rosetta Stoned is also excellent, such a deviation from tradition songwriting form.

Ask VIRII. He must have taken a screen shot of the whole page to get his current sig. Maybe he has the original saved somewhere!

Would it be frowned upon to ask how he became persona non grata? He may have had a controversial style, but I never thought he'd be the tallest blade of grass to be cut down :p

I think he leached all the emails from our trusts and sigs and sent us all an email suggesting we visit some 'ocuk alternative' forum.

Was all pretty much done and dusted by the time I got round to reading the email.

That was him? Guess my argument in my previous post has been totally proven wrong :p
He protests his innocence albeit admits to writing a script and harvesting a 'small' number...

something is emerging through the time-fog - was it a Keirkergard quote?

Bit late coming to this but I don't think it was Kierkegaard, I think you might be confused with Beren who does quote one of his more famous utterances -"People demand freedom of speech to make up for the freedom of thought which they avoid.".

If memory serves it was more to do with freedom of expression and the right of anyone (and everyone to do so) because VIRII picked him up more than once to the effect that he didn't believe in it where the viewpoint differed from his own. I'm afraid I can't help much more than that at the moment and search isn't proving too much use because if you search for visage you almost inevitably also find posts by VIRII which doesn't narrow it down any, I suspect I'd have had more success in trying to separate night and day. ;)

//edit perhaps even to do with the silencing of others freedom of expression as I can vaguely remember the debate that to have someone on ignore does not equal silencing them, it is merely not listening to them which is a very different issue. :)
