Anyone remember what graphics card they first used?

Hi guys,

you guys remember the first graphics card that you ever used? Mine was a really nasty 2MB EISA graphics processor that you had to buy memory chips for and could slot onto the board itself, they cost an absolute bomb for the chips and you could'nt tell the difference when inserted but jesus those things look old now lol.

4MB Rage Pro, iirc.
First proper 3D card was a Voodoo2 12MB, bought from OcUK

man those voodoo were good cards, i used one of the voodoo 5's if i remember right (cost around £500 at the time) and it was almost as big as the motherboard but i loved those cards.

Wernt they first to implement a form of sli where you could chain two together IIRC?

Nvidia Geforce Diamond Viper 32mb (iirc) - though the guy who built my first PC ripped me off so it was lower spec I think.

i think mine was an ati mach64 2mb
came with my first ever pc, good ole escom p60. can still remember the spec too lol, 16mb ram, 540mb hard drive and a 2x cd rom lol, oh the days of windows 3.11 lol ;-)

then moved onto a rendition verite 1000
