Anyone replaced a PSU on a HP Microserver N40L?

I believe my PSU has died in my N40L as it will no longer switch on.

I've read various guides on the net, but most referring to replacement PSU's available in the states.

Has anyone replaced their PSU on this rather popular server? What did you use and where did you get it from.

there are lots of people repalcing them with picopsu's for more quite machines, i havent my self replaced it but there were a number of people in the microserver thread who had a belive.

I've got a PicoPSU running an Atom PC at home - amazed it would have enough grunt for a N40L with multiple HDs

Thanks guys. Would rather not go down the HP route if possible as the original parts are quite expensive.

I've also read that the connector is a standard ATX one, yet I could have sworn that when I had it in bits that a spare PSU I had didnt fit - should a spare ATX PSU be able to work despite obviously not fitting in the case?
