Hey all!

Have a Dell AW3423DWF which is great, love it for gaming and general use, and have run a cheapo 1440p standard monitor in portrait next to it since I got the Dell a few months ago, but have never been happy with how much desk space it took up.

Thinking of running the 27" above the UW, and wondering if anyone else is doing the same and if it works or maybe has some pictures for some inspiration? :)

I have been considering doing the same thing, so I can't say yes to your question only that it's something I am looking at doing aswell, I would need the right sort of VESA arm to support that though, I know you can get ones to support this configuration but I don't want one that is just a fixed pole really and that's what they seem to be, I like ones on an arm I can adjust easily such as I already use, at least for the main display, I suppose using a seperate solid arm with a high mounting for the top monitor would be ok ..I dunno really, as you say inspirtation would be nice.

Just an update on this!

Have been running the set up for a few weeks now and it works well and looks really neat, don't have a photo at the moment but I used the following arm:

WORLDLIFT Dual Monitor Stand- Vertical Stack Monitor Desk Mount for Two Screens Up to 32 Inch Height Adjustable Screen Supports with Swivel, Tilt, Rotation, C-Clamp and Grommet Bases

£40 on Amazon and holds both monitors solid as a rock, and allows the top 27" to angle downwards.

Only really use my PC for gaming, but works so much nicer having the map for Tarkov directly above so I just need to glance upwards rather than turning my whole head and the 27" feeling miles away!

I tried a very similar stand (Bracwiser) and found that the tilt clamps quickly failed - they couldn't hold the weight. I now use a Hemudu stand which has no such issues.
